Do you ever feel like you just don't fit in and maybe are a little different than everyone else? Maybe instead of feeling out of place, when we feel this way, we need to realize that we simply have a different type of beauty. No one person (or flower) is prettier or more amazing than the other - just different.
Addie brought a small flower home from school in a paper cup last May. . . We planted it along with our other flowers for the front of our house and weren't even sure it was going to make it. This is what has happened in the last week or so. It took it's own time to bloom, changed colors 3 times, from red, to yellow to a beautiful orange. Perhaps it was simply trying to decide who or what it wanted to be and only bloomed when it felt ready and comfortable. It was definitely worth the wait. That flower is my favorite out of the many planted on our front porch. Unique and magnificent. . .

Have you ever?
Have you ever ventured outside on a Sunday evening for a small fireside chat with some friends? I have - and gotten 42 mosquito bites from the knees down as a result. Needless to say - not sleeping much because of endless itching...

Two peas in a pod, Trip to Boise, and a Cinderella sighting! (among other things)
So Addie and some friends were playing dress-up the other day and Grayson felt left out. . . Needless to say we know what's on his birthday list! Wandering hand during naptime anyone?
Some new pictures of Emma - long time coming. Sorry for the ones that didn't rotate like I thought they would.
In the mix- the only picture I remembered to take during our jaunt to Boise to drop off the girls. . . Bless Line's heart. She put up with A LOT on that car ride.
Two peas in a pod - I thought it appropriate that I take a picture of Emma's older twin. . . Anyone else see the resemblance?
Gray in the background trying to get Emma to smile for me. The one I didn't get was of him trying to hold her eyelids open. Nice Gray.
Pictures of Addie to come in the next blog. She, having had a liberating independent trip from her parents is now convinced that she can and will make dinner for the fam any night possible. She was making some mac and cheese in the kitchen while I was doing this. . . She rocks. What do I really need to do around here anymore that Addie doesn't want to do? Probably the toilets - she's got the rest down. Thanks Mom and Dad!

Piano Lessons
Not to follow Cassie's lead - but, now that Emma is a little bit older - I am ready to take on a few more piano students again! I have some students currently, so not all afternoons are open but. . . I'm ready for some new little ones! I'm mostly focusing on beginners - or those in the few beginning years. I'm also thinking of adding a piano recital around Christmas and the end of the school year for parents to attend. . . Call me or email me if you are interested!

Look what I got!
I finally got a picture of Emma smiling! Okay - not this one - but it's on this blog post. It's funny how when they are little babies their pictures either look completely alien or adorable right? Anyway - here are some pictures from the 4th too. . . Hope you all had a good one.
