She's here!!!! Thankfully my doctor is a good listener and heard us when we told him that we worried about her a little. . . Emma was still moving but not as much, my fluid levels were measuring a little on the low side and she hadn't really grown over the last couple of doctor's visits. . . .Her heartbeat was strong and she was doing great but the whole thing was making me anxious and crazy. So - when we went to our doctor's appointment on Wednesday, Doctor Barton decided that we should induce that day instead of waiting till this coming Sunday. Couple of hours and a much loved loved epidural and she arrived at 9:59 pm. 7 lbs 5 oz, 20 inches long and now nicknamed Matt Jr. - Emerson (Emma) Calais Brousseau was born. She did have the cord wrapped around her neck so I wasn't crazy, just strongly prompted to communicate my worries with my doctor. . . I feel blessed that I did and that he listened to me - she's here safe and sound! So far (keep your fingers crossed) she is a completely mellow and calm baby and a great eater. We think she looks the most like Jackson did at this age. What do you guys think?

Almost. . .
So I almost had a baby yesterday. I was that close. Stink. I had a doctor's appointment and while we were there the doctor took measurements of both the baby and amounts of fluid in the sac with her. Well, long story short, if I had had levels of 5-10 in there he would have induced me. I had, however, a 10.1. Seriously - I was .1 away from being done. The good news is that Emma is fine and STRONGLY kicking and moving so she is doing fantastic, I just have to wait one more week. Stink.

Deals
I love getting deals. Anytime I can use a coupon these days - I do it. I watch for them in the mail like a hawk. It just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside when I get a steal of a deal. Well - today we found a total steal of a deal. We have been searching for a basketball hoop to put in the front yard for the boys (addie too, of course) since we've lived here I guess. Today we found the perfect one, for 56% off. Seriously, makes my day. We told Jax it's his birthday present. And Christmas, and the next 5 birthdays. . . Anyway - I think Matt might be more excited than the boys. . . .Come on over uncle James!

Easter . . .
So, thanks to Aunt Candy, I remembered that Easter was this past Sunday in the nick of time. I truly forgot because of pregnant brain. Can you imagine my kids' faces, waking up Easter morning with nothing there? Talk about childhood trauma. . . Serious save, thanks Candy. Anyway, this Easter was a great one. Believe it or not, Easter is my absolute favorite "holiday." To me it represents a fresh start, a new day and true hope. I love that it comes right when the winter weather is leaving, I just feel excited - that this coming year will be great and so on. I just love it. . . Instead of focusing on our Savior's death, this one day of the year we get to focus on his life and resurrection. Anyway. . . Here are some pics. The easter egg hunt was at Uncle Naki and Aunt Abby's - thanks guys!
If you look closely at the pictures of Gray - I have found another similarity he has with his Uncle Tim (or what he was like as a kid). He just will not give a "true" smile. Each picture I ask, and look and see what I get. . . Funny kid. Look at how grown up Addie looks! I'm in shock . . .

Things I've Learned
So I learned a few new things at church yesterday, courtesy of my children, that I didn't know before. First, I learned that it is possible for an 8 year old to choke on a goldfish cracker, during sacrament. I also learned that when Gray prays, it's because he's praying for the policeman to help him fight the bad guys and monsters. Or because he's thankful for Diet Coke. I learned that mom's are magnets when sitting in the BACK of the primary room. Forget that something is going on at the front. If I sit in the back - they will get up and want to sit with me every time. I secretly like it. . . And last - I learned that I don't need to worry about Gray's body when he's dead. Although bad guys came and took Jesus' body (what Gray thinks) after he died - no one, I repeat, no one will take Gray's body because he will fight them off with his bo staff. No bad guys will mess with him (even though he's dead).

Once again . . .
Once again my boys have been spoiled. Thanks to the awesomeness ( for which there is no charge. . . (anybody know what movie that's from?)) of Uncle Naki, my boys were invited to an alumni day with the BYU football team. Matt and the boys tagged along with Naki to the indoor facility and were able to meet the team, the coaches, etc. Jax even told me that he was able to play catch with Max Hall. Of course he did. . . that kid is SOOO spoiled in the sports area. Apparently, after Jax threw the ball back to Max Hall, the infamous quarterback said that Jax should be out on the BYU field on game day instead of him. . . .something my little boy will remember FOREVER! Their jerseys are signed, and according to Gray, meeting "Dennis Pinna" (Dennis Pitta, did I spell that right) was his favorite because he was the tallest - they had the "best day ever." That is - aside from meeting the BYU basketball team too. Go figure. Thank you Naki! My boys had the best time. . . Go Cougs!
